Doorknocking Newtown to promote NSW Socialists and introduce our candidate for Newtown, Shovan Bhattarai, to the electorate! Starting location and time tbc.
Excitingly, we have selected our candidate for the Newtown electorate for NSW Socialists - student, young renter and Palestine activist Shovan Bhattarai! This event is to doorknock the suburb of Newtown to introduce ourselves to the electorate and talk with voters about why they should support a socialist challenge in the 2027 state election. We will need all hands on deck, so all party members from across Sydney are welcome. We will begin with a training session to hone our talking points before we hit the streets and knock on doors!
