In conversation with Yasmine Johnson - The Palestine Movement and the Royal Commission

This Monday we are lucky to hear from Yasmine about her stand before the Royal Commission and the ongoing struggle for Palestine.

Yasmine stood before the Royal Commission and refused to be intimidated by the attempts to smear the Palestine movement, explaining with confidence why solidarity with Palestinians is a fight against racism, apartheid and oppression. Her testimony cut through the lies used to silence activists, making clear that opposing the actions of the Israeli state is not antisemitism, and that the struggle for Palestinian liberation is part of the global fight against injustice.

Yasmine’s dedication to activism and her testimony is an example of why we need more people to be socialists.
